PALESTINE, October 26, 2013— Texas A&M AgriLife Extension of Anderson County will offer a Goat and Lamb Seminar on Tuesday, November 12, at the Anderson County Annex in Palestine. Registration will begin at 5:30 p.m., and program will start at 6:00 p.m.
There will be a $15.00 fee which includes a lamb hamburger meal.
Speaker for this event is Dr. Frank Craddock Professor and Extension Specialist located at Texas A&M Research and Extension Center at San Angelo, TX. Craddock is known throughout the state and nation for his knowledge of sheep and goats.
This program will be of great benefit to existing goat and sheep producers and extremely important to those that are thinking of getting in the business. This program will benefit 4-Her’s and FFA members as well as families.
Those wishing to attend should pre-register at the Extension office, 101 E. Oak Street, in Palestine, or call 903-723-3735. Deadline to register is 12 noon on November 12. Pre-registering is extremely important for meal planning and selecting a room large enough to accommodate the group attending.
