ACSO arrests two for PCP, marijuana after traffic stop

ANDERSON CO., March 25, 2014—On Monday, at approximately 12:48 a.m., Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputy Johnny Gorden made a traffic stop at the 900 block of Court Drive.

The driver of the 1996 Cadillac, later identified as Adrian Gray, age 24, and the passenger, later identified as Elbert Gray, age 26, were throwing things from the windows. The items were recovered and were identified as 55 grams of PCP and a small amount of marijuana.

Both men were arrested.

Adrian Dwayne Gray was charged with: Possession of a Controlled Substance, penalty group 1 – greater than 4 grams, less than 200 grams, with a $15,000 bond; Tamper or Fabricate Physical Evidence with intent to impair, with a $10,000 bond; Possession of Marijuana, less than 2 ounces, with a $2,500 bond; No Driver’s License; and Expired Registration. Adrian Gray has already bonded out of the Anderson County Jail.

Elbert Lewis Gray was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, penalty group 1 – greater than 4 grams, less than 200 grams, with a $15,000 bond; Tamper or Fabricate Physical Evidence with intent to impair, with a $10,000 bond; Possession of Marijuana, less than 2 ounces, with a $2,500 bond. He remains at the Anderson County Jail at this time.
