4-wheeler theft results in arrest on Florence Street

ANDERSON CO., August 2, 2013--Anderson County Sheriff's Office Deputies and Palestine Police Department Officers have made an arrest in connection with the theft of two 4-wheelers.

According to Anderson County Sheriff Greg Taylor, Deputies were called in to assist the Palestine Police Department after a report was received concerning the possible location of a Polaris Sportsman 800, and a Polaris Sportsman 500, which had been reported stolen from a residence in the 100 block of CR 2204.

Officers arrived at the reported location on Florence Street, off of Hwy 79, and discovered a suspect who had, in his hand, the ignition for one of the machines. Both 4-wheelers were also located on the property.

William Edward Brown, III, was arrested and charged with Burglary of a Building, a State Jail Felony.
