(TEL AVIV, Israel) -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke on Saturday, stating defiantly that Israel will continue to defend itself against Hamas attacks.
Troops from the Israel Defense Forces will pull back after they complete the destruction of cross-border tunnels, but will be redeployed to positions that suit the needs of Israeli defense. Netanyahu insisted that the operation would continue until the country's goals are achieved.
Netanyahu aims to restore security to the Israeli people, though he gave no further details as far as timing for a troop pullback. He also complimented America and President Obama for continuing to stand with Israel.
