(COLUMBUS, Ohio) -- Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller will miss the entire upcoming college football season after injuring his right shoulder during practice on Monday, according to ESPN.
Miller suffered a shoulder injury during last year’s Orange Bowl game, which required surgery during the off-season.
Under center for the Buckeyes last season, Miller passed for 2,094 yards and 24 touchdowns while rushing for 1,068 yards and 12 touchdowns. He is the reigning two-time Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year.
J.T. Barrett, a redshirt freshman, is expected to be named starter for Ohio State’s season opener against Navy in Baltimore on Aug. 30.
