Eagles Trade Running Back Bryce Brown to the Bills

NFL Shield (NFL)(NEW YORK) -- The Buffalo Bills continue to wheel and deal during the NFL Draft as they've most recently made a trade to acquire running back Bryce Brown from the Philadelphia Eagles.

In order to get Brown, the Bills will send a conditional fourth-round pick in 2015 that can become a third-round pick in 2016. The Bills and Eagles will also swap seventh-round picks.

The 22-year-old Brown is an intriguing player for the Bills. Not only is he still young, but he's still a developing player as he had just 103 rushing attempts in college, 87 less than he's had in two years at the NFL level.

As a rookie, Brown had 564 rushing yards on 115 attempts and looked like he might have been a real steal as a former seventh-round pick.

But under first-year head coach Chip Kelly, Brown saw a reduction in playing time and had just 314 rushing yards on 75 attempts.

The Bills top running backs, C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson are both entering the final year of their contracts.
