Sylvester Stallone denies accusation of sexual assault against 16-year-old

Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- Sylvester Stallone is denying published report that he and a bodyguard were accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl in 1986.

A rep for Stallone said in a statement to ABC affiliate KABC, "This is a ridiculous, categorically false story. No one was ever aware of this story until it was published today, including Mr. Stallone. At no time was Mr. Stallone ever contacted by any authorities or anyone else regarding this matter. It never happened."

The story, first published in February 2016 by the Baltimore Post-Examiner website, but picked up Thursday by The Daily Mail, cites a Las Vegas police report that the Mail said was verified by the retired police detective who headed the Vegas police sexual assault unity at the time.

According to the report, which the Mail published a copy of, the 16-year-old was introduced to Stallone by a child actor on the film Stallone was working on at the time, Over the Top.

The report alleges that the teen was given a key to Stallone's room by Stallone's bodyguard and invited up where she and Stallone had sex while the bodyguard remained in the bathroom. Stallone later asked if she'd ever had sex with two men after with the bodyguard came into the room and, the report alleges, the men coerced her to perform oral sex on them.

Later, the report claims, Stallone threatened to beat the girl if she told anyone.  The report says the teen, who suggested her initial encounter with Stallone, but not the later encounter with Stallone and the bodyguard, was consensual -- the age of consent in Nevada is 16 -- declined to press charges saying, "I'm humiliated and ashamed...."
