(NEW YORK) -- Abby Lee Miller, the dance coach featured on Dance Moms, is launching a new Lifetime series on Tuesday night. In Abby's Studio Rescue, she'll visit struggling dance studios around the country that are in need of her assistance.
Miller believes she has a lot to offer these studios. She explains to ABC News Radio, "I could give a fresh perspective of what was going on...and most importantly I could get to the bottom of the story."
Though Miller has a reputation for dispensing tough love, she says children are actually quite fond of her -- they even like to hug her.
"It doesn't matter how mean they make me out to be on the show, kids get it. They get that I want what's best for them. I want them to succeed. I want them to be stars," she says.
You can see Miller on Abby's Studio Rescue Tuesday night at 9 p.m. Eastern time.
